Aqua-Pure 3MFF101 Lead Reduction Drinking Water Filter

Featuring a quick-change design, the Aqua-Pure™ 3MFF101 lead reduction filter is designed specifically for use with the 3MFF100 lead reduction drinking water system.  NFS 53 certified for lead reduction, the 3MFF101 is ideal for heavy-duty drinking water needs, with a capacity of 6,000 gallons, or ~45,000 bottles of water.

As an under-the-sink filter cartridge, the 3MFF101 is designed to provide safer, cleaner, and clearer drinking water. By removing, or reducing, a variety of water contaminants, including lead, sediment, chlorine, parasitic protozoan cysts, and a select number of VOCs, for example, benzene, p-Dichlorobenzene, and toxaphene, homeowners benefit from safe and delicious on-demand water, direct from the kitchen faucet for drinking, cooking, coffee, tea, or preparing baby formula.

The 3MFF101 features a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) cartridge designed for fast and easy cartridge change-out, and can be used at kitchen or bathroom sinks, and addressed both municipal, chlorinated systems, or well water systems.

Certified Lead Reduction

The 3M™ 3MFF100 provides <1 parts per billion lead (ppb) filtration levels, as demonstrated by it's NSF 53 certification testing. This is much lower than the EPA's 15ppb1 action required level, lower than NSF Standard 53 requirement of 5 ppb2 , and even lower than the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommendation that water lead levels in school drinking water fountains should not exceed 1 ppb3.
