The Aqua-Pure AP717 cartridge is a triple action in-line filter, removing sediment, chlorine taste/order, and hard-water scale. Used primarily to pre-filter water feeding ice-makers, if features an in-line design for fast and easy replacement. The AP717 filter is the perfect in-line water filtration solution when a refrigerator does not have a pre-existing water filter.

The filter has a 1/4" inlet/outlet connection, a flow rate of up to 0.5 gpm, and a 1500 gallon capacity. The system uses specially formulated activated carbon and progressively porous media for effective filtration down to 5 microns nominal.

This in-line filtering system can also be uses as a pre-filter for drinking fountains, coffee machines, and drink dispensers.
